Cody Judy

This modification involved nothing more than placing a cardboard cutout of a baby and placing it over an estate sale portrait of a rather old-looking infant. The cutout is the story. My wife and I bought it at a Hallmark store in 1994 when we were filling pressure to have kids. We named him Cody Judy for events in the news at the time (look it up). My four kids have kind of regarded him as their older brother.

I take bad and discarded art, generally from thrift stores, and ‘improve’ on them. For a complete collection of my art, a term I use very loosely, go to matthewfranck.com/portfolio
