Jetsons, 1962

This portrait, which is huge, is by a noted itinerate artist who traveled the country painting wealthy families. I picked it up at an estate sale for $12.50. I did not want to damage it, so I used only reversible gouache paints. It would wipe off with a wet tissue.

ABOUT

I take bad and discarded art, generally from thrift stores, and ‘improve’ on them. For a complete collection of my art, a term I use very loosely, go to matthewfranck.com/portfolio
